Muammar Gaddafi’s son arrested, detained in Libya
Muammar Gaddafi’s son and once heir apparent, Saif al-Islam, was on Saturday captured in the southern Libyan desert by fighters who vowed to hold him in their mountain town of Zintan until there was an administration to hand him over to.
The fighters claimed his capture as gunfire and car horns expressed jubilation across Libya at the seizure of the British-educated 39-year-old, who a year ago seemed set for a dynastic succession to rule the oil-producing African desert state.

Gongo Aso Crooner 9ice Fights At A Birthday Party
Hmm, wonders shall never end, they say. Or what can best explain this gist that we are getting about this Alapomeji records boss involving himself in a public fight with a fan at a birthday bash he went to recently?
Not long ago, it was Ruggedman and Goldie that both engaged a fan on twitter on a fight of words, where they both threw their status as celebrities and role models into gutters and gave the fan words of his life, using various industrial languages at their available at their disposals.
According to an eyewitness account, and confidently divulged to us, oh, wait a minute, did I tell you that 9ice was about releasing his new but long awaited album on December 7? Maybe we would take what happened in this gist as one of his pre-album release activities. Or what do you think?

Why Dangote was honoured with GCON – Jonathan
These are the words of GEJ “Today (monday) I am having the GCFR the highest in the land by virtue of the fact that I am the President of this country, but if I am not the president another person must be the President of Nigeria, but if Aliko did not have that business acumen to build that empire probably we wouldn’t have had somebody to employ thousands of Nigerians.
So those who by their innate abilities and creative energies have been able to make impact in our society even deserve more honour than those of us holding political offices. So we would continue to encourage enterprise, creativity and Nigerians who have excelled in whatever form. A welder, electrician or anybody who by virtue of what you do, you’ve done it with much dedication and impacted society significantly can be honoured by the president”. - GEJ

Actor Ayo Badmus badly beaten by political thugs
The actor tells Vanguard exactly what happened to him on that unfortunate day during the Sallah holidays. It’s true that I was beaten and almost killed by the thugs guarding the Chairman of Oshodi L.G.A. My wife, my brother and myself went to pay a courtesy to my boss, Tunde Kelani on the Salah day. When we got there, I went round to greet people and when I got to where the Oshodi L.G.A Chairman sat, I wanted to shake him when his brother said I ought to have prostrated.I didn’t reply him even when he started insulting me, saying actors are stupid and useless. I made to leave when suddenly, I saw a group of thugs, numbering up to twenty pounced on me and started beating me up.They broke bottles on my head, kicked me and almost killed me if not for my wife, brother and other people who came to my rescue.I’ve done a lot for the Lagos State Government even without being paid. Why should I then be treated in such a manner like a criminal? What the Chairman of Oshodi Local government and his brother did was wrong. They are public servants and should be polite. I never met them before in my life. Neither did I involve myself in any kind of politics. That day was the first time, I set my eyes on them. They probably felt intimidated by my presence and the way people around hailed me.
